There is a time for everything, a time to prepare, a time to learn, a time to lead, and a time to reflect. As the sun sets on another academic year at Harare International School, the moment has come to honor and celebrate our incredible Seniors as they prepare for their final IB exams. Among their many accomplishments, one stands tall: their journey through the CAS program.

Creativity. Activity. Service. These three words form the heart of CAS, a core pillar of the IB Diploma Programme (DP). It’s not just about completing a checklist, CAS is about becoming.

This year, our Grade 12 students embraced CAS with heart, grit, and intention. They stepped beyond the classroom, diving into real-world challenges, uncovering personal strengths, and leaving a lasting impact on their communities. From organizing events and volunteering, to building new skills and facing their fears, they demonstrated what it means to grow as learners and global citizens.
